Manager, Learning Design

The University of Florida Lastinger Center for Learning is hiring a Manager, Learning Experience Design. This role leads the Learning Experience Design team by supervising instructional designers, guiding course design and development, managing production timelines, and ensuring high standards of instructional quality and accessibility across learning products.

• Supervise and develop instructional designers on the Learning Experience Design team.
• Guide design and development of online learning experiences aligned with program goals and learner needs.
• Manage course development lifecycle to meet timelines and coordinate with stakeholders including SMEs and project managers.
• Ensure learning products comply with instructional quality, accessibility, and usability standards (ADA/WCAG).
• Use feedback and quality reviews to continuously improve courses and design practices.
• Required qualifications:
  
  Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred skills include experience with learning management systems (D2L Brightspace, Canvas) and Articulate 360 tools (Rise, Storyline).
• Experience managing instructional design staff and applying universal design and accessibility standards.
• Salary range: $95,000 - $110,000.
• Experience in higher education, educational technology, and designing professional learning for adult learners preferred.
