Risk Management:
Recruit, train, supervise, coach, mentor and evaluate student and other part-time staff (approximately 50 staff on an annual basis).
Plan and facilitate regular staff meetings and training sessions for each assigned area including awareness and compliance with all University policies and procedures.
Assist with the development of program training manuals and materials including safety and risk management practices to meet national standards and University policy.
In coordination with unit area team and the Talent Management Unit create and implement a comprehensive student development program.
Communicate job responsibilities and expectations for student employees.
Program Management & Administration:Plan, develop, schedule, and implement assigned programming, including trip logistics, assessing location-specific risk management, prepping equipment, and briefing student staff and participants as needed.
