In this position, you will collaborate closely with other staff to plan and co-develop lessons, including production-based learning experiences centered on Shakespeare and mythology. Students will be guided to synthesize texts and create a culminating festival aligned with the year's theme, transforming learning into meaningful performance, writing, and creative expression.
The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a collaboration-ready, student-centered ELA educator who is excited and motivated to build projects with colleagues and support students in applying literacy content into confident communication and everyday life principles.
The Facilitator MindsetWe seek a teacher who acts as a facilitator and guide, rather than a dispenser of facts, awakening the student’s spirit and imagination. Lead students to interact with a range of texts, including novel studies, to strengthen skills in listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing, and presenting. Preparing students for the rigors of their chosen high school pathways, including IB and Cambridge programs.
