Assistant Director of Development, Corporate Relations- College of Nursing

The University of Florida is hiring an Assistant Director of Development, Corporate Relations for the College of Nursing. This role leads the cultivation and stewardship of corporate partnerships to support academic programs, research, workforce development, scholarships, and community engagement, while managing a portfolio of prospects and collaborating across departments to drive philanthropic investments.

• Manage and build a portfolio of corporate partners with a focus on proposals of $25,000 and above.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate prospects aligned with the College of Nursing's strategic priorities.
• Develop and execute engagement strategies to secure funding for scholarships, research, and academic initiatives.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and sponsorship packages for corporate partners.
• Coordinate campus visits and corporate-sponsored programs like internships and workforce development.
• Serve as primary liaison between the College and healthcare organizations, corporations, and industry leaders.
• Required qualifications:
  
  Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of major gift fundraising experience, preferably in a university or nonprofit setting, with strong skills in prospect identification, relationship building, and project management.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, donor databases, and contact management systems.
• Expected salary range: $53,000-$60,000.
