Admissions Officer II; Transfer Admissions

Overview

The University of Florida is hiring an Admissions Officer II (Transfer Admissions) to manage undergraduate admissions and readmissions for prospective and returning students. The role involves reviewing and evaluating applications, coordinating decisions with academic colleges, assessing transcripts and transfer credits, and providing guidance to students, families, and university partners throughout the admissions process.

• Review and evaluate undergraduate admissions applications and transcripts for compliance with university standards.
• Coordinate admissions decisions with academic colleges and manage transfer credit assessments.
• Serve as a primary contact for prospective students, families, and university personnel regarding admissions inquiries.
• Support admission workflows, policies, and operational processes to ensure timely application processing.
• Assist with escalated student cases and develop admissions resources for campus partners.
• Maintain accurate admissions records in compliance with university regulations.
• Collaborate with Office Enrollment Management and other university departments to support enrollment goals.

• Required qualifications include a master's degree or a bachelor's degree with one year of relevant experience.
• Experience with student information systems, CRM platforms preferred, especially Slate and People Soft Campus Solutions.
• Annual salary information: $47,500 plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, tuition assistance, and loan forgiveness eligibility.
