The Office of Admissions helps students begin their path to academic success through recruitment, advising, processing, and orientation. The Office of Admissions supports campus visits, houses the Student Ambassador program, Finish at the Top, and SFAchieve.

Job Description Responsibilities and

Duties Include:
  • Engages with prospective students digitally and at recruitment events on- and off-campus, serving as a pre-college advisor by providing support and accurate, timely information about the college, designated programs, and enrollment processes.
  • Communicates with prospective students digitally through

    Salesforce CRM and updates and maintains all digital interactions;directly assists with the management of the Salesforce Ecosystem.
  • Supports the planning and staging of large recruitment eventson-campus, including but not limited to, Open House, Family Preview Day, New Student Preview Days, and College Fair.
  • Assists with the development and production of the in-person

    New Student Convocation event, Santa Fe Live, which is a student success event held in both the Fall and Spring semesters.
  • Carries out assigned campus visit and group tour programs,which includes on-campus tours, virtual tours, and special recruitment events.
  • Assists with the logistics and administration of the Student Ambassador program, which includes managing the scheduling and training of student employees.
  • Updates recruitment event management platforms regularly and coordinates content with the Marketing and Communications department to ensure alignment with brand identity.
  • Builds and maintains professional relationships with community organizations in Alachua and Bradford counties to work collaboratively in promoting recruitment events for prospective students.
  • Serves as a representative of the College and the Office of Admissions at off-campus recruitment events, both in the community and out-of-district.
  • Supervises part-time staff as needed, to include completingreappointments, scheduling and approving time sheets.
  • Provides service to the college through participation inevents, committees, and other college activities.
  • Complies with all published College Rules, procedures,guidelines, and laws/regulations governing public employees,including but not limited to those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality.
  • Strictly honors the privacy, security, and confidentiality ofrecords and other sensitive information according to appropriate state, federal, and college regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides service excellence through courteous, informed,accessible, and professional engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

An associate’s degree with two (2) years of work experience in areas of enrollment management, teaching, counseling,or advising at the high school or post-secondary level or acombination of education and/or experience equal to four (4) years.

Additional Requirements:

Applicants must have a valid Florida Class E Operator (driver’s) license and be authorized todrive for the college. Must be able to carry/lift at least 20pounds without assistance. A criminal background check will be conducted.

Preferred:

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with experience working in higher education; multiple languageproficiencies; and prior experience with the constituent relationship management platform (CRM).
