CPR Instructor

Continuing Education at Santa Fe College (SF) offers non-degree programs and workshops focused on providing diverse workforce development opportunities that meet the ever changing needs of the surrounding communities. Whether an individual is seeking an industry certification, changing careers or focusing on career advancement, starting or growing their small business, or seeking the in-demand skills for emerging technologies, Continuing Education has current, accessible, and affordable programs that will fit into their busy schedule.

We are seeking part-time CPR instructors to teach BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Heart Saver for continuing education courses held on SF's main NW campus and 6 educational centers in and around Alachua County. Rates of pay for Continuing Education/Corporate Training instruction are market based with the hourly rate for CPR Instructors at $25/hour.

Responsibilities and

Duties Include:
  • Instructs American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS, Pediatric Advanced Life Support PALS, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS and Heart Saver First Aid CPR Certification courses.
  • Complies with all published College Rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws/regulations governing public employees, including but not limited to those related to document retention and destruction, FERPA, and confidentiality.
  • Strictly honors the privacy, security, and confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information according to appropriate state, federal, and college regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provides service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

Current instructor certification from the American Heart Association.

Additional Requirements:

A criminal background check will be conducted.
