Job Description:

Preparation of Courses:
Collaborates with subject matter experts (SME) to execute the translation of SME course maps to learning management system (LMS) course sites. Develops and designs learning aids including, but not limited to, instructional guides and web simulations to assist in the transfer of knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Evaluation and Support of Courses:
Identifies areas for improvement through Quality Control and Quality Assurance processes. Ensures alignment of new and updated courses and course materials with federal and state course quality / accessibility requirements.

Academic Technology, Pedagogy, & Delivery

Innovation: Conducts needs assessments, designs and develops appropriate classroom and technology-based training to meet organization and individual needs. Provides analytical support for the design and development of training curricula, learning strategies, educational policies, or courseware standards. Evaluates the effectiveness of training materials to ensure objectives are accomplished. Facilitate training classes or present training to faculty, staff, and students.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.

Preferred:

Formal training in educational pedagogy and educational technology implementation across myriad course delivery modalities. Effective oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated expertise building with Cidi Lab's Design Plus and within Instructure's Canvas Learning Management System.
