Seeking wonderful part-time student mentors for unique, rewarding opportunity! Work with intellectually disabled adults at the Santa Fe College Northwest Campus in our grant funded program, ProjectSAINT:
Student Access and Inclusion Together.
- Duties vary but may include any or all of these:
- Attending (auditing) 1 or more classes alongside a student
- Tutoring the student before or after class
- Assisting with assignments
- Accompanying student to on-campus activities or events
- Working with the student on community-based activities.
Reports to:
Instructional Specialist, Adults with Disabilities
The Educational Aide must be a currently enrolled
Santa Fe College student, in good academic and behavioral standing, taking six (6) or more credit hours. Seeking only very motivated, highly responsible, and extremely capable applicants for this great opportunity. One to two interviews and three references will be required.
A criminal background check will beconducted.
PreferredExperience as a teacher/tutor or with personswith disabilities is very helpful.

- Ability to work successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
- Customer Service - ability to respond promptly and courteously to all questions from students and faculty, demonstrating patience and persistence when helping students with little or no computer skills.
- Ethics - able to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, civility, and a high degree of ethics in all job-related actions
