Our Little Cubs are on the move
, and we're looking for an energetic, warm, and engaging Assistant Teacher to join our Toddler 1 classroom!

This is a classroom filled with movement, music, emerging words, growing independence, big feelings, and plenty of discovery. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys this age; someone who gets down on the floor, sings the songs, celebrates the tiny victories, and brings positive energy into the room each day.

You’ll work alongside an experienced lead teacher to create a nurturing, structured environment where our youngest learners can explore, build confidence, and develop the skills that come with becoming busy little toddlers.

• Be actively engaged with children throughout the day, not watching from the sidelines
• Support learning through play, music, movement, books, conversation, and hands-on exploration
• Help children navigate routines, transitions, meals, diapering, rest time, and early independence
• Support positive social-emotional development and age-appropriate behavior guidance
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and inviting classroom
• Work as a true teaching partner with the Lead Teacher
• Build warm, professional relationships with children and families

• Previous experience working with infants and/or toddlers in a childcare or early learning setting
• Florida DCF 40-hour training completed
• Current required childcare certifications
• Dependability, professionalism, and strong teamwork skills
• The energy and physical ability to keep up with an active toddler classroom

• Naturally upbeat, playful, and engaging
• Patient when little people have very big feelings
• Comfortable jumping in and taking initiative
• Affectionate and nurturing while maintaining consistent routines and expectations
• Someone who truly enjoys toddlers; the wiggles, giggles, messes, milestones, and all
