IT Training Specialist

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is hiring an IT Training Specialist for Artificial Intelligence. The role involves designing, developing, delivering, and assessing AI-focused training programs to help university employees effectively use AI technologies, improve productivity, and foster innovation. The specialist collaborates with various university departments to align training with strategic goals and advances AI literacy across the institution.

• Design, develop, and deliver AI-specific training programs, workshops, and webinars for university employees.
• Introduce emerging AI tools and technologies, including low-code and no-code applications.
• Collaborate with technology teams and organizational leaders to align training with university priorities.
• Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Required Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience.
• Preferred skills include application/programming experience, teaching/training certification, and proficiency with learning management and design tools such as Microsoft and Adobe suites, Articulate Rise, Captivate, or Camtasia.
• Salary range: $60,000-$65,000, commensurate with education and experience.
• Work closely with colleges, departments, technology teams, and organizational leaders within UFIT.
• Required Level 1 Criminal Background Screening and no work visa sponsorship available.
• UFIT supports enterprise IT systems facilitating teaching, learning, research, and service across the university and SEC/SUS universities.
