We're seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to oversee all process engineering, maintenance, and technical operations within our Gainesville, FL facility. In this key leadership role, you'll ensure that machinery, equipment, and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and reliably to support production goals and meet regulatory standards.
You will guide high-performing technical teams, drive capital improvements projects, lead preventive maintenance programs, and champion continuous improvement initiatives.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering, maintenance, and technical support personnel.
- Implement and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and extend asset life cycles
- Identify and drive plant-wide initiatives to enhance energy efficiency, reduce waste, and increase production throughput
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and internal safety policies.
- Maintain a safe, hazard-free environment through proactive safety measures and continuous monitoring.
- Provide expert guidance in troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process optimization.
- Support complex technical challenges through data-driven problem-solving.
- Manage departmental operating budgets and capital expenditure plans
- Optimize spending while maintaining high levels of plant reliability and performance.
- Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering
- Knowledge of plant systems including PLCs, motors, HVAC, utilities, and automation equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven capability to lead, train, and inspire teams
- Proficiency with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies
- Track record of successfully implementing process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering field (required)
