Position: REVELxp - FANgineer, University of Florida

Job Description

FANgineers play a vital role in the success of our hospitality program and game days – they help engineer a great experience by providing the highest level of hospitality for our fans in the premium seating areas on game day. They serve as goodwill ambassadors to donors and their guests while maintaining operational policies in place for all premium seating areas.

FANgineers also act as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Managers, and Athletic Department personnel.

Location:

Gainesville, FL at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Act as game‑day ambassadors for the Hospitality Office and athletics department.
  • Provide proactive, high‑touch hospitality service to premium guests while adhering to REVELxp’s G.O.L.D. Standard Service for all guests, fans, and department staff.
  • Ensure all game‑day policies and procedures are being upheld.
  • Monitor entrances, review tickets, and be aware of access control protocols.
  • Perform pre‑, during, and post‑game duties associated with the premium areas (fulfilling requests, disposing of trash, monitoring facility needs and food & beverage needs).
  • Other duties as assigned.
Availability and Opportunities
  • Must be available to work all home football games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in the fall of 2026, with opportunities to work the Orange and Blue spring football game along with other stadium concerts and events.
  • FANgineers are hourly employees; hours will range between 6 and 14 hours per week depending on the home game schedule and game preparation needs.
  • FANgineers are expected to work the entire football game‑day shift, which typically begins one hour before stadium gates open and ends approximately 90 minutes post‑game.
  • Opportunities may be available to work the Thursday before game days for additional hours.
  • With a positive supervisor evaluation, the opportunity exists to work additional athletic events such as basketball, gymnastics, baseball, etc.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
  • Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds (e.g., event materials, signage).
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Manual dexterity to handle event materials and technology.
  • Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor spaces.
  • Good visual acuity and attention to detail.
Work Environment
  • Combination of office and on-site event environments.
  • Fast‑paced conditions during live events.
  • Frequent interaction with clients, vendors, and large groups.
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings, or multi‑day work assignments.
