Fiscal Assistant II-Time Limited
High school diploma or equivalent and three years of general accounts transaction experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for required experience.
Job Description:- Process and review daily financial transactions for construction projects in myUFL, including purchase orders, invoices, and payment applications
- Verify accuracy of transactions and ensure all required approvals are in place before processing
- Serve as primary point of contact for construction teams on transaction processing for fee developer projects
- Coordinate approvals with Planning, Design, and Construction and monitor for timely completion
- Compile and translate construction financial data from multiple systems into clear, consolidated reports
- Collaborate with Finance & Accounting, campus partners, and stakeholders to support reporting and data needs
- Assist with audit preparation, research, and documentation requests
- Support project teams in monitoring construction budgets and expenditures
- Provide analytical, financial, and compliance support to the department
- Assist departmental leadership with administrative and operational tasks as needed
- Review and document financial processes to ensure consistency and efficiency
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement solutions across teams
- Other duties as assigned by the department leadership
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with accounting software
- Ability to apply problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and business‑reporting abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
- Proficient in Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
