Job DescriptionSUMMARY
This position is responsible for developing and expanding the community bank’s asset base through the profitable growth of its market share of retail and commercial lines of business. It also provides supervision and direction for all community bank personnel.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

- Conduct day-to-day operations under the policy direction of CEO and board of directors.
- Educate and develop personnel.
- Maximize collaboration between lending and operations in designated community bank location.
- Completes all required compliance exams on a yearly basis.
- Adherence to all First United Policies and Procedures.
- Dresses Professionally.

Education and Work Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
- Minimum of 10-20 years relevant industry and management experience.
- Strong financial and regulatory expertise with the banking industry.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong financial analytical and underwriting skills.
- Experience managing within a matrix organizational structure.
- Extensive leadership versatility and an ability to relate with and understand varying mindsets within a diverse organization.
- Ability to manage a wide range of projects.
- Complex thinking capacity and skills.
- Knowledge of loan participation.
- Ability to lead others to comprehend complex issues from a higher level and bring value to senior management.
