- Valid Driver's License
- One of the following:
- State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance OR
- Letter from current school noting you are currently enrolled with a projected graduation date from the program*
- Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
- CPAT (National) OR EPAT OR Certificate of Completion from CSRIPS within the previous 12 months
- CPAT scores must be valid between April 30, 2025 and June 24, 2026. If you do not have a CPAT, please check with Palm Beach State College for the next scheduled CPAT. If your appointment is scheduled after you submit your application, email your appointment information to Alyssa Steckler at asteckler.
- EPAT scores must be valid between April 30, 2025 and June 24, 2026. If your appointment is scheduled after you submit your application, email your appointment information to Alyssa Steckler at asteckler.
- For candidates who attended CSRIPS and have your certificate of completion, it must have been obtained within the previous 12 months of submitting your application.
- Any questions in reference to obtaining your CPAT, please contact Palm Beach State College at or .
- One of the following:
- State of Florida Paramedic License OR
- Letter from current school noting you are currently a 4th semester paramedic with a projected graduation date from the program**
Once your application is submitted, you will not be able to add any documents to your application.
* Applicants who receive their State of Florida Firefighter Certificate of Compliance after the closing date, MUST submit a copy to asteckler prior to August 31, 2026.
** Applicants who receive their State of Florida Paramedic License after the closing date, MUST submit a copy to asteckler prior to July 17, 2026.
