City of Gainesville seeks a supervisory trade inspector to direct a team of field inspectors ensuring compliance with the Florida Building Code and Fire Prevention Code. You will enforce city ordinances and coordinate inspections with contractors and owners.
Position reports to the Building Official and requires strong knowledge of construction codes, discretion in interpretation, and experience in enforcement actions within a municipal setting.
