Our client is a premier provider of home infusion services, dedicated to delivering high-acuity clinical care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. We are seeking a Home Infusion Pharmacist to serve as a clinical anchor for our Gainesville operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives on clinical autonomy and wants to move away from the high-stress environment of retail or large-scale hospital staffing.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Oversight: Review and optimize complex medication regimens (IVIG, biologics, TPN, and anti-infectives) to ensure therapeutic appropriateness and safety.
  • Sterile Compounding Excellence: Oversee and participate in the preparation of sterile compounds, strictly adhering to USP and USP standards.
  • Patient

    Education:

Provide high-touch clinical counseling and education to patients and caregivers regarding their infusion therapies and equipment.
  • Operational Compliance: Ensure all dispensing and documentation meet state/federal regulations and accreditation standards (ACHC/URAC).
  • Interdisciplinary

    Collaboration:

Act as a clinical liaison between nursing teams, prescribing physicians, and manufacturers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
  • Licensure: Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Florida.
  • Experience: 3+ years of clinical pharmacy experience (Hospital, Infusion, or Acute-Care settings preferred).
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of sterile compounding, aseptic technique, and USP regulatory requirements.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to manage complex cases independently.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient counseling and provider collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Home Infusion or Specialty Pharmacy.
  • Proximity within 10–15 miles of the Gainesville pharmacy location.
  • Flexible availability (24–32 hours per week for Part-Time applicants).
Working Conditions
  • Performed in a controlled pharmacy/cleanroom environment.
  • May require occasional standing for extended periods during compounding.
  • Standard pharmacy physical requirements, including the ability to lift up to 30–50 lbs (medication cases/supplies).
