Radiologic Technologist / CT Tech
Overview
Performs a variety of radiographic and fluoroscopy procedures in both an inpatient and an outpatient setting. The technologist will rotate between fixed and portable imaging and utilize an EMR for exam tracking.
The Rad Tech must be effective with communication, clinical skills, and able to work positively in a high stress environment with patients, peers, families and other internal / external personnel. The Rad Tech is responsible for carrying out the mission and goals of UF Health ONH and UF Health Shands, assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the patients care.
In addition to providing diagnostic X‑ray images, other duties will be assigned within the scope and licensure of the Rad Tech.

Minimum
Education and Experience Requirements:
Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program which has been accredited by an agency accepted by the ARRT. Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
This position does not require operating vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
NOTE:
A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form at the time a RFP is submitted to post the position.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Must hold a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
