Position SummaryThe TAS is a critical role in BMS’s customer model, driving adoption of BMS medicines for appropriate patients. The TAS delivers a differentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through scientific dialogue, builds strong credibility with healthcare providers, and collaborates across functions to meet business and compliance goals.
Key Responsibilities- Portfolio Promotion
- Promotes approved indications of BMS products, achieving or exceeding sales targets while maintaining compliance.
- Creates demand by articulating the clinical and scientific rationale for product use.
- Maintains deep scientific expertise across assigned products and therapeutic areas.
- Prepares and implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
- Uses CE^3 tools to derive insights, inform call plans, and provide leadership feedback for continuous improvement.
- Fair & Balanced Scientific Dialogue
- Demonstrates scientific expertise and uses approved resources to present accurate information.
- Conducts in‑office presentations and discusses product information consistent with label.
- Organizes external speaker programs and manages logistics.
- Stays current on emerging data for approved indications.
- Engages real‑time medical support via Medical on Call for complex inquiries.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Collaborates with field teams to ensure the best Cx for HCPs.
- Shares relevant insights internally to improve customer service.
- Complies with all laws, regulations, and BMS policies governing conduct.
- Field‑based: 100% of time spent with external customers.
- Advanced scientific degree and/or 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience in healthcare sales, MSL, HCP, or nursing.
- Ability to communicate scientific/clinical data accurately and convincingly to physicians.
- Experienced in building and maintaining strong credibility with key customers and stakeholders.
- Preferred experience in cardiovascular therapeutics.
- Strong account‑management skills, superior selling competencies, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Effective cross‑functional teamwork and a can‑do attitude.
- Strong selling and promotional skills demonstrated through performance.

- Field – United States – US: $134,390 – $162,843.
- Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available.
