Position Overview:In this role as an Audiologist, you will diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders for patients of all ages, using evidence-based care to improve their quality of life. You’ll work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive audiological services, with a focus on accurate diagnostics, personalized treatment, and exceptional patient care in a private practice setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform hearing evaluations and diagnostic testing for pediatric and adult patients.
- Fit and program hearing aids to meet each patient’s unique needs.
- Conduct Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP) testing.
- Perform vestibular assessments, including VNG and caloric testing.
- Administer electrophysiology testing such as Electrocochleography (Ecoch
G). - Conduct otoacoustic emissions (OAE) and distortion product OAE screenings (DPOAEs).
- Provide custom earmolds and musician hearing protection products.
- Interpret test results in the context of each patient’s lifestyle and communication goals.
- Educate and counsel patients and caregivers on results, treatment plans, and device use.
