The Center for Healthy Minds & Practice (CHaMP) at the University of Florida College of Medicine (UFCOM) and UF Health is seeking a full‑time Psychologist to help cultivate psychological well‑being among UFCOM and UF Health faculty, residents, and staff. The psychologist will provide short‑term therapy both in person and via telehealth, lead group support after critical incidents, facilitate ongoing support groups, train and assist the clinician peer support program, and address emerging situations.

Additional tasks may include delivering educational presentations and programming on mental health topics for UFCOM and UF Health faculty and staff.

Primary responsibilities involve offering clinical services to individuals working at UFCOM/UF Health. The ideal candidate has experience with a wide range of psychosocial (e.g., burnout/job stress, marital/familial stress, substance use concerns, interpersonal difficulties) and mental health concerns at varying levels of severity, and can refer to community services as needed. Experience working with doctoral‑level professionals, especially healthcare workers, is preferred. The position requires collaboration with UF Employee Assistance Program, Care for Colleagues, UFCOM Director of Wellness Programs, and Gator Care Wellness, among others, and may include clinical supervision of other counselors within the center.

This position may be deemed an essential employee with additional required responsibilities during a declared emergency.

• Provide time‑limited individual counseling for UFCOM and UF Health faculty, residents, and staff.
• Case management, including clinical supervision, coordination with stakeholders and external providers, referrals, and follow‑up care.
• Provide group‑based interventions, including ongoing support groups, planned programs, and post‑incident debriefings.
• Administrative tasks, including preparing, reviewing, and signing clinical documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

$115,000 annually

• A doctorate in psychology from an accredited college or university, including one year of supervised internship experience in professional psychology.
• Licensed or licensed‑eligible within two years as a mental health professional or psychologist in Florida.

• Clinical experience working with healthcare professionals and/or university faculty and staff.
