The Clinical Research Office (CRO) in the Office of Research Affairs (ORA), Dean's Administration, College of Medicine, Jacksonville seeks an independent Clinical Research Coordinator III to manage assigned clinical research activities. The role includes coordinating multi-center clinical trials, overseeing feasibility, startup, execution, close-out activities, reporting, and financial management within the UF enterprise. Responsibilities involve patient interaction, enrollment, protocol implementation, data collection, specimen handling, and compliance with Good Clinical Practice and HIPAA regulations.
Responsibilities- Coordinate study visits, enrollment, follow-up procedures, and data collection from patient charts and other sources.
- Perform blood draws, vitals, and specimen processing as specified by protocols.
- Manage day-to-day activities ensuring study compliance and protocol adherence.
- Assist in budget development, grant identification, and partnership development with industry and external sponsors.
- Serve as a resource for departmental clinical trials and act as backup coordinator on multiple projects.
- Provide guidance to research teams on study design, execution, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background check required.
- Master's degree in an appropriate field and five years of experience coordinating or managing clinical research.
- Experience in phlebotomy and clinical research.
- Proficiency in data management and superior organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and prioritization skills; ability to work under deadlines independently or as part of a team.
- Integrity, attention to detail, confidentiality, and respect for subjects’ rights.
Estimated $70,000 – $80,000 per year.
