The ImagingNMD research team is seeking multiple full‐time Research Assistants to join our team in the Department of Physical Therapy, College of Public Health and Health Professions. Located in Dauer Hall and/or the Clinical Translational Research Building on the UF campus. Incumbents will assist Research Coordinators and Faculty with the implementation of research activities for both industry and NIH‑sponsored clinical studies.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Monitoring and review of study data, including management of clinical data such as MRI images, physical function testing, and medical history information. Monitoring and distribution of data reports to internal and external recipients.
- Assistance in conducting study visits for patients enrolled in clinical research studies, including scheduling, tracking visits, and collecting study data (magnetic resonance imaging, functional data). Entering data on case report forms or computerized databases, reviewing data for accuracy and completeness, interacting with patients, families, and research staff, and escorting participants between appointments and the MRI room.
- Preparation and maintenance of study binders/folders and coordination of subject visits. Communicating with MRI facility staff, Clinical Research staff, and other key personnel; preparing, reviewing, organizing, and filing documents accurately to maintain reliable records.
- Manual data analysis, including visual identification of designated anatomical regions on collected MRI images.
- Assistance with meetings/conferences, ordering supplies, and distributing documents to collaborators at other institutions. Assembling meeting/conference materials, creating study binders, ordering materials, and performing administrative and logistical tasks.
- Complete other tasks as needed.
$16.00 - $19.00 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and 1–2 years of experience. College coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute for required experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Previous experience working with children.
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with subjects and other study research team members.
