Physical Therapist (PT) – Flexible In-Home Outpatient Therapy

Compensation: $52.00 - $80.00 / hour

Description

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you specialize in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with physical limitations or injuries. Your expertise in movement science and rehabilitation enables you to develop personalized treatment plans to restore function, alleviate pain, and improve mobility.

  • Comprehensive Assessment:
    Identify impairments, functional limitations, and contributing factors through clinical examination and diagnostic tests to develop a holistic understanding of each patient’s condition.
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation:
    Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practices. Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
  • Manual Therapy and Therapeutic Techniques:
    Perform manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, and stretching) and prescribe therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and neuromuscular re‑education to enhance strength, flexibility, and motor control.
  • Pain Management and Modalities:
    Tailor treatment modalities to each patient’s needs, monitoring responses and adjusting parameters as necessary.
  • Functional Training and Rehabilitation:
    Guide patients through functional mobility training, gait training, and activities of daily living to improve essential tasks and participation in meaningful activities. Incorporate real‑life scenarios and environmental modifications to facilitate skill transfer to home and community.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Current license/certification in the state of practice.
