Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans based on thorough patient assessments.
  • One-on-one patient care - 60 minute PT visits.
  • Provide hands-on therapy, including manual techniques and therapeutic exercises, to improve patient function and reduce pain.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Current Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing.
  • Excellent manual therapy skills and experience with therapeutic exercises.
  • Strong communicator and team collaborator.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work two days in Gainesville, and two days in Ocala / Lake City.
