Respiratory Therapist – RRT/CRT

Shifts Available:

• Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Job Summary:

Knowledge of patient responses, side effects and proper dosages of medications used in respiratory care. Able to communicate effectively with Physicians, patients, managers and the publics. Ability to teach/instruct, assess and reassess others. Able to recognize and report abuse and neglect in patients. Knowledge of generally accepted practices in respiratory care as prescribed by the physician. Delivers, set-up, and maintains routine and non-routine therapies and equipment (i.e., oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) utilized by Respiratory Therapy.

Ability to perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases.

Qualifications:

• 1yr min of RRT exp required (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, Critical care unit) *
• Would consider those with home care and/or long-term care experience
  * Would also consider CRT experience
• FL State Respiratory License
• NBRC – RRT/CRT
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS
  - Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NRP
  - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS
  - Pediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

Compensation:

Pay rates: UP to $36.95/hr. (based on years of experience)
