Travel Physical Therapist - Gainesville, FL
Location:
Gainesville, FL
Assignment Duration:
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule:
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Job Description:
The Travel Physical Therapist will provide essential therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility. This position requires a dedicated professional to deliver outstanding patient care, perform evaluations, and develop treatment plans for rehabilitation.
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers
- Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans
- Implement gait training and therapeutic exercises
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards using Meditech (Expanse)
- Must hold a valid Physical Therapist (PT) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred
- Ability to effectively function in a fast-paced environment
- Strong adaptability and independence in clinical responsibilities
