Medical Receptionist – Primary Care

The Role:

We’re seeking a Medical Receptionist – Primary Care to ensure an exceptional patient experience from the moment they walk through the door. Under the supervision of the Office Manager, you’ll support daily front desk operations, manage patient interactions, and help maintain an efficient and welcoming clinic environment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Greet patients in a courteous and professional manner and manage check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
  • Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and collect copayments as required.
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately.
  • Maintainaccurateand up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Manage front deskworkflowto ensure smooth patient flow and minimal wait times.
  • Scan, file, and process patient documentation as needed.
  • Alwaysmaintaincompliance with HIPAA and office policies.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned by management.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 1+ years of experience in a medical office orrelatedcustomer service role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Knowledge of medical office procedures, insurance verification, and EHR systems preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills .
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High levelof professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
