Responsibilities

Mental Health Technician - MHT (Adolescent). Multiple Full-Time Positions Available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

• Assists and monitors client's activities of daily living. Consistently demonstrates an alert, sensitive and supportive attitude with clients, families, employees, and management.
• Interacts therapeutically with clients in one-to-one situations, community and group meetings.
• Has a basic understanding of common psychiatric diagnoses.

Maintains professional boundaries with clients and demonstrates the ability to be an effective communicator.

• Education:
  
  High school graduate or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field preferred.
• Prefer experience in a psychiatric hospital setting as an MHT working with children, adolescents and/or adults.
• License/Certification:
  Not required.
• Skills:
  
  Demonstrates the ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Clear background from criminal activity.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Extensive walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs. Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.
• Compensation and benefits:
  Eligible for a $1 to $3 shift differential in addition to the regular hourly pay rate. Benefits include Excellent Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug Plan; 401k plan with company match;
