Laundry Aide

Our company is seeking a thorough and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our growing team!

The Laundry Aide will be responsible for receiving, washing, drying, and folding laundry items. The Laundry Aide will work under the direction of the Director of Housekeeping to ensure laundry is prepared and distributed to the appropriate departments.

Laundry Aide Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and weigh laundry items.
• Load laundry items into washing machines and ensure proper settings are used.
• Transfer laundry to dryers and operate dryers.
• Fold and distribute clean laundry.
• Keep laundry equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Ensure that laundry is sorted by department and stored in designated areas.
• Follow safety protocols and standards while handling and transporting laundry.

Laundry Aide

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time.
• Reliable and punctual with attendance.
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and operation is a plus.

Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening in accordance with state regulations.
