About the MIST Program

The Maternal Infant Substance Treatment (MIST) Program is a 16-bed residential treatment program designed specifically for pregnant and parenting women struggling with substance use disorders.

Women admitted to the program typically remain in treatment for 6-12 months and receive comprehensive support services, including:

  • Substance use disorder and mental health treatment
  • Individual, group, and family counseling
  • Case management services
  • Medical care coordination with community healthcare providers
  • Parenting, life skills, and domestic violence education
  • Educational and vocational assistance
  • Childcare support
  • Housing and community resource referrals

One of the most meaningful aspects of MIST is that infants remain with their mothers during treatment
, allowing for critical bonding and attachment while mothers focus on recovery, healing, and building a healthy future for their families.
