SIMEDHealth's Gainesville laboratory is seeking an energetic and skilled Full-Time Phlebotomist to join our high-volume team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are passionate about providing excellent patient care, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you'll be a vital part of our laboratory, directly interacting with patients to collect specimens with accuracy and care. Your ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer service is essential in our busy setting.

• Performing venipuncture on patients with precision and care
• Collecting urine samples according to established protocols
• Conducting drug screens accurately
• Efficiently entering patient information into our computer system
• Ensuring the safe and proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste
• Demonstrating exceptional customer service skills in all patient interactions
• Performing various administrative and clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, and copying
• Adhering to all patient and staff safety policies and procedures

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Graduation from an accredited Phlebotomy program
• Previous experience with electronic health records
• 1-2 years of experience in a laboratory, medical office, or hospital setting (preferred)
• Comfort working in a high-energy, high-volume environment
• Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A commitment to safety and accuracy
