Position Title: Recovery Specialist
Location: Gainesville, FL
Salary: $16.32 | Hr. | Non-Exempt
AboutThe Role
- Assists the treatment team in providing direct client care.
- Aids in ensuring an orderly, safe and therapeutic environment by maintaining a therapeutic relationship with person served and treats person served with dignity and respect at all times.
- Monitors person served to help maintain a safe, clean environment and sets standards for milieu monitoring through the performance of these tasks.
- Observes, reports and documents client interaction among peers, staff and the community as it relates to clients' individual recovery goals.
Preference is given to candidates with work experience in substance abuse. Current Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record while meeting company insurance requirements required.
What We're Looking For- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred and 2 years' experience in a human service field required.
- College education in human service field may be substituted for experience.
- Personal recovery of at least 2 years may be substituted for work experience.
