Scheduler, Healthcare

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter all prescriptions into the ADS referral system.
• Contact patients to schedule appointments and enter appointment details into the ADS scheduler.
• Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
• Communicate with doctors’ offices, attorneys, and workers’ compensation companies to obtain patient and referral information.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry.
• Review and verify all received information, with special attention to prescription and insurance details.
• Respond promptly to emails, messages, and other communications.
• Collaborate effectively with the Marketing Representative to achieve departmental goals and resolve issues efficiently.
• Screen patients for potential contraindications and ensure MRI procedures can be performed safely.
• Confirm next-day appointments as needed.

• Experience using scheduling software and healthcare management systems.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and MRI safety screening is preferred.

Compensation: $17 - $20.00 per hour.
