Location Gainesville, FL
Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with no weekends and no call.
Job Description The Cath Lab Tech is responsible for assisting in the performance of cardiac procedures, including device implants and cardiac ablations. This role requires expertise in using advanced equipment such as the GE Innova X-ray system and the GE Mac Lab Hemo System, while ensuring optimal patient care and experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with device implants and cardiac ablation procedures.
- Operate diagnostic equipment effectively and safely.
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals including RNs and other techs.
- Ensure compliance with hospital guidelines and protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RCIS or RT(R)(CV) certification.
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Experience with device implants, ablations, SVT, and A-fib.
