Person in this position will as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team to development treatment and service plans, provide integrated therapies, education, and case management services, monitor progress, and review and adjust plans based on client progress or lack of progress. Essential Job Functions include those listed below.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Provide clinical activities for integrated substance abuse and mental health services for women with co-occurring disorders.
- Provide leadership to the Treatment Team to collaboratively conduct psychosocial groups and provide rehabilitation skills training.
- Work with Counselors, Family Service Specialists, and others to integrated services during residential treatment, including mediation monitoring, symptom management, monitoring vital signs, and working on health issues, and participation in psychosocial groups provided by the treatment teams.
- Conduct psychosocial groups on Socialization, Medication Management, Supportive Psychotherapy, chemical Dependency Issues, Gender Specific Issues, Stress Inoculation training, Hygiene, Budgeting, and Problem Solving.
- Develop specialized groups for lesbian, bigender, and transsexual issues of clients with dual disorders.
- Provide individual therapy to clients with symptoms of mental illness and monitor progress in treatment.
- Seek out and engage family members and encourage their participate.
- Supervise the screening and assignment of cases referred for mental health services.
- Assist staff at arriving at solutions to client problems as they relate to mental health issues.
- Participate in staff training, and development and implementation of the quality improvement process as it relates to therapy.
- Responsible for maintaining the client charts in compliance with agency, state and any other rules and standards; and
- Must Embrace and embody the mission, vision, guiding principles, clinical vision, and goals of West Care Foundation; and
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a criminal history background check.
- During your tenure with West Care there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that West Care may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.
- CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test.
- Experience consisting of a minimum two (2) years of experience providing alcohol and/or drug treatment or recovery services preferably to women in treatment.
- One (1) year experience in supervision/management, preferably in a residential setting.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

WORKING CONDITIONSWork is primarily performed in an office or in a Residential/Outpatient treatment setting. Some outdoor activities may be required. Must be able to de-escalate situations in the program.

Having an adequate range of body motion and mobility to work in an office, residential, or outdoor environment including standing and walking (even and uneven surfaces), sitting for extended periods of time, bending, twisting, reaching, balancing, occasional lifting and carrying of up to 10 pounds. Use of computer and telephone systems is required which includes coordination of eye and hand, and fine manipulation by the hands (typing, writing, and working with files).
