In this role the Component Specialist will perform the following job duties:
- Manufacture and label blood and blood components
- Perform routine laboratory clerical procedures and accessions
- Distribute and prepare specimens for analysis
- Dispense blood products
- Monitor and maintain blood component inventory
- Order and restock supplies

Required:
High School graduate or equivalent
Required:
Minimum 3 months full-time experience processing samples using laboratory equipment
Preferred:
Clinical or hospital-based experience. Previous computer operational skills using a personal computer, laboratory system or other hospital information system.
