Are you ready to make a difference?

  • The Peer Specialist/Case Worker is a Veteran with lived experience to mentor and advocate for the program participants. responsible to advocate for participants;
  • Preferred High School Degree or equivalent and two years’ experience with adult population. In lieu of experience the Peer Specialist must successfully complete Volunteers of America of Florida Case Worker/Peer Recovery Specialist training or complete a Behavioral Health Technician training.
  • Certified Peer Specialist a plus
  • Personal experience with recovery from mental illness or substance abuse disorder preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in use of computer.

Hourly rate $17.10
