A new acute care hospital opening in the Gainesville area is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its founding rehabilitation team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a brand-new clinical environment, help shape workflows, and collaborate with a strong interdisciplinary team from day one. If you’re looking for a stable, full-time hospital-based role with consistent hours and meaningful patient impact — this offers both structure and the chance to grow with a new program.

• Brand-new hospital environment — ground floor opportunity
• Hospital-based setting (no home health or PRN travel)
• Consistent schedule and patient volume
• Collaborative rehab team with interdisciplinary support
• Exposure to a diverse patient population (neuro, ortho, stroke, cardiac)
• Open to both new grads and experienced therapists

• Evaluate and treat patients in an acute care setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehab team members
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
• Educate patients and families to support recovery and independence

• Active Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire
• New grads welcome; experience preferred

• Full-time, W2 position
• Sign-on and relocation assistance available (case by case)
• Located in the Gainesville, FL area
