Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused leader to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Manager. In this role, you will support the Director of Rooms in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping Department, ensuring exceptional cleanliness standards and an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • To supervise, direct, and assist in the completion of housekeeping tasks assigned to housekeeping team members.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Support financial performance by managing departmental budgets, controlling labor costs, monitoring expenses, and reviewing monthly profit and loss statements.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor team members to build a strong, engaged, and service-driven team.
  • Ensure effective training programs are in place; implement coaching, career development, and recognition initiatives.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities.
  • Collaborate with the Front Desk team to manage room inventory and enhance VIP guest programs.
  • Lead by example to ensure all guest interactions are handled with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by actively engaging with guests and anticipating their needs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas; assign and follow up on deep cleaning projects as needed.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly and effectively, creating positive recovery experiences.
  • Partner closely with Maintenance and Front Desk teams to coordinate daily operations and ensure seamless communication.
  • Support other departments as needed, maintaining a collaborative and professional work environment.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by Director of Rooms.
Compensation

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
