Food & Beverage Supervisor – Hilton University of Florida Conference Center
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team. This individual will support the Shula’s General Manager and oversee the lunch period operations at the Hilton University of Florida Conference Center. In this leadership role, you will help deliver outstanding dining experiences, ensure smooth daily operations, and lead a dedicated team in maintaining the highest standards of service.
Responsibilities- Customer Service – Ensure guest satisfaction is always the top priority.
- Respond promptly to guest needs, requests, and inquiries.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and effectively.
- Train and empower staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Operations & Finance – Assist in managing departmental daily operations.
- Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for cost control.
- Oversee inventory and ensure proper control procedures are followed.
- People Management – Lead, motivate, and develop team members.
- Assist with training, scheduling, and performance reviews.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- Ensure compliance with certifications, policies, and safety regulations.
- Quality Assurance – Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
- Conduct regular inspections for health, safety, and cleanliness.
- Ensure equipment is maintained through preventative maintenance programs.
- Business Management – Support efforts to maximize resources and achieve departmental goals.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities and build strong vendor relationships.
- Adjust staffing and inventory levels based on business demand.
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in food & beverage service, preferably in hospitality.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills under pressure.
- Knowledge of cash handling and basic accounting procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality degree a plus).
Hilton University of Florida Conference Center, a distinctive property managed by Pyramid Global, is located within the University of Florida. The hotel offers 248 rooms, 10 meeting spaces, and 30,811 sq ft of meeting space.

This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
