Job DescriptionThe FANgineer plays a vital role in the success of the hospitality program and game days by providing the highest level of hospitality for our fans in the premium seating areas. They act as goodwill ambassadors to donors and their guests, maintain operational policies for premium seating, and serve as a liaison between donors, caterers, maintenance staff, custodial staff, Hospitality Managers, and Athletic Department personnel.
Dutiesand Responsibilities
- Act as game day ambassadors for the Hospitality Office and athletics department.
- Provide proactive, high-touch hospitality service to premium guests while adhering to REVELxp’s G.O.L.D. Standard Service for all guests, fans, and department staff.
- Ensure all game day policies and procedures are being upheld.
- Greet premium guests, donors, and employees in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage elevator access and guest flow during high‑traffic periods to ensure a safe and efficient experience.
- Monitor and report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or unusual activity.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be available to work all home football games at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in the fall of 2026, with an opportunity to work the Orange and Blue spring football game as well as other stadium concerts and events.
- FANgineers are hourly employees; hours will range between 6‑14 hours per week depending on the home game schedule and preparation needs.
- FANgineers are expected to work the entire football game day shift, which typically begins one hour before stadium gates open and ends approximately 90 minutes post‑game.
- Opportunities may be available to work the Thursday before game days for additional hours.
- With a positive supervisor evaluation, gain the opportunity to work additional athletic events such as basketball, gymnastics, baseball, etc.
- Ability to work all home football games, including some nights and weekends.
- Availability on the following dates (August‑November 2026):
- Saturday, September 5th
- Saturday, September 12th
- Saturday, September 26th
- Saturday, October 10th
- Saturday, November 7th
- Saturday, November 21st

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
- Manual dexterity to handle event materials and technology.
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor spaces.
- Good visual acuity and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel to event sites as needed.
- Fast‑paced conditions during live events.
- Frequent interaction with fans, vendors, and large groups.
- Long periods of standing and constant movement around the event venue are expected on event days.
- Competitive pay rate: $15/hour.
- Paid break with complimentary meal.
- Hands‑on experience in premium hospitality and live event operations within a Division I athletics environment.
- Transferable skills in guest services, communication, and problem‑solving in a fast‑paced setting.
