Position: Front Desk Supervisor - Hotel Supervisory Experience Required

Position Overview

Front Desk Supervisor at Hilton University of Florida Conference Center. Responsible for ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality of all Front Office operations, supporting guest satisfaction while leading staff.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee guestroom allocations and ensure reservations are accurately recorded to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Assist Front Office Manager with hiring, training, and scheduling Front Office personnel.
  • Supervise team performance, attendance, professionalism, and overall conduct.
  • Ensure check-in and check-out procedures are consistently followed.
  • Maintain communication between Front Office and all hotel departments, especially regarding guests’ arrivals and departures.
  • Collaborate with Sales Department to fulfill client room needs and conduct site tours as necessary.
  • Serve as group liaison, overseeing room blocks, arrivals, billing, departures, pre-conference meetings.
  • Follow up on VIP room blocks and inspect assigned rooms prior to arrival.
  • Monitor and adjust room blocks for special requests and suites.
  • Review daily departure reports and update records accordingly.
  • Perform daily/weekly key inventory and coordinate results with Engineering and Security.
  • Review Housekeeping Reports to resolve discrepancies before shift ends.
  • Verify room revenue accuracy before daily close and complete nightly bucket checks.
  • Deliver friendly, attentive, and efficient guest service at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous hotel or resort experience preferred.
  • Genuine desire to make a positive impact on guests and team members.
  • Outgoing, engaging, and professional demeanor.
  • Strong computer proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
