University Auditorium Facility Attendant
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to speak and write English fluently
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Good interpersonal skills and pleasant demeanor under adverse circumstances
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Registered students must be eligible to work on campus and employed through OPS
The Facility Attendants are the first point of contact for University Auditorium patrons and clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Unlocking and securing the facility for business operations and events
- Attending to UF Performing Arts and UF School of Music equipment per training
- Answering general inquiries and fielding phone calls from current and prospective clients
- Assisting in preparation of the venue for events of varying scope
- Maintaining integrity of venue security and providing authorized access
- Checking patron belongings that are not permitted into the hall during performances
- Logging lost and found items
- Assisting venue leadership with event set-up and breakdown as needed
- Responding to emergencies and assisting with evacuation procedures based on training
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Preferred Qualifications- Prior customer service experience
- Venue or Event Management experience
