Position: SR HR GENERALIST

Job Summary

The HR Generalist supports site operations by providing guidance and support across key human resources functions. This role partners with leaders and associates to drive employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, retention, compliance, performance management, and workforce effectiveness in a large healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply HR policies, procedures, and programs while providing guidance to managers and associates.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations, HR assessments, and develop action plans to support compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment and onboarding activities.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant personnel files and HR records.
  • Support associate recognition, retention, and stay interview initiatives.
  • Partner with managers to ensure timely completion of performance reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports, metrics, and workforce data.
  • Support compliance with company policies, HIPAA requirements, and employment laws.
  • Assist with training, development, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in special projects and process improvement efforts.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required.
  • 1‑3 years of HR Generalist, HR Representative, or related HR experience.
  • Professional HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience supporting a large, fast‑paced workforce preferred.
  • Experience working in a collective bargaining environment preferred but not required.
