Human Resources Generalist II; Enrollment Management

The University of Florida is hiring a Human Resources Generalist II to manage HR operations within the Division of Enrollment Management. This role handles HR transactions across the employee lifecycle, oversees payroll and time administration, supports recruitment and onboarding, and provides guidance on HR policies to supervisors and staff.

• Manage HR transactions including hires, terminations, leave requests, and position updates
• Oversee weekly payroll activities and maintain accurate time records following UFHR Payroll and FMLA guidelines
• Provide HR policy guidance and support to supervisors and staff
• Partner with hiring managers on full‑cycle recruitment and coordinate onboarding processes
• Ensure compliance with training, probationary periods, and employee check‑ins, maintaining audit‑ready personnel records
• Support business process improvements and deliver training on HR functions and systems
• Required qualifications:
  
  Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination
• Preferred skills include experience in a high‑volume HR environment, strong communication, problem‑solving, and working knowledge of myUFL HR and payroll systems
• Annual salary of $60,000 plus benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, state retirement plans, paid time off, tuition assistance, and PSLF eligibility
• Supports HR operations for the Division of Enrollment Management within the Office of Enrollment Management
