IT Generalist I
Bachelor s degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities- Network Troubleshooting – diagnose and resolve connectivity issues; administer Active Directory, shared folder architecture, and UF/IFAS software platforms. Evaluate user needs and makes recommendations on necessary software and computer equipment.
- IT Liaison – act as the departmental bridge between UF/IFAS IT and faculty; present departmental needs in bi weekly UF/IFAS meetings.
- Communication – disseminate IT updates, security alerts, and policy changes to all department stakeholders.
