Job Description:

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a professional‑level IT Program/Project Manager to join Customer Experience and Resource Planning (CERP), a unit within UFIT.

UF Information Technology (UFIT) enables teaching, learning, research, and service on campus and across the region with state‑of‑the‑art enterprise IT systems, including SEC and SUS universities, and the opportunity to teach using Hi Per Gator .

CERP enables UFIT’s goal of enabling teaching, learning, research, and service by informing the university of IT services, support, and systems, conducting year‑round feedback and listening programs, serving as campus advocates for enterprise IT improvements, and managing enterprise‑wide technology projects for UF.

Key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
  • Own the full lifecycle of large‑scale projects and multi‑project programs, including benefits realization tracking and executive steering committee facilitation.
  • Evaluate incoming project requests for strategic fit, conduct feasibility analysis, and make authoritative recommendations on prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with executive stakeholders and business unit heads, translating organizational goals into actionable program scope and deliverables.
  • Mentor and coach IT Project Managers and drive process improvements across UFIT's project management practice.

Expected Salary

$98,000–$105,000; commensurate based on education and experience
