Job Description:
UF Information Technology (UFIT) is currently seeking a intermediate-level Windows Site Reliability Engineer to join the Infrastructure & Communication Technology team within UFIT.
Competitive candidates will be self-motivated, organized, eager to learn, and willing to share extensive experience with fellow team members. Outstanding communication skills are a must. You will have the opportunity to lead small and medium projects and initiate new projects that fit the organization's needs. Other duties include coordinating teams responsible for maintenance, installation, configuration, and deployment of enterprise-wide infrastructure and software systems.

Some key responsibilities and characteristics of this position are:
* Windows Administration of Enterprise Applications
* Provide input, advice, and recommendations on enterprise systems administration and management technologies
* Assist with architectural decisions across projects and initiatives and promote architectural best practices
* Scripting and automation using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Git Lab, etc...
* Participate in Post-incident reviews
* Large scale Windows administration
* Participate in designing system architecture and implementation
* Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
